Bally Basketball Shooting and Athletic Development Morning Sessions
These morning sessions throughout Terms have proven very popular and we are pleased to advise that these will continue into 2024. These sessions provide a specific focus on shooting and strength/athletic training.
Our morning sessions sell out fast so please be sure to sign up asap to ensure you secure a place as we will be capped at 18 players per age group, with no walk-ins accepted - these sessions are closed sessions and once limits have been reached, registration will close for the Term.
Sessions will be held from 7:30am school day morning for each year group. Communication regarding times and registrations will be circulated in due course to all currently registered Bally Boys Basketball Players.
Sessions will be split into two groups, Developing Athletes and Elite Athletes, each having access to 45 mins of individualised shooting training and 45 mins of athletic development. These groups will be capped at 9 players (18 total) and will be based on first in, first served.
Ben Jerome will coach the shooting training, working primarily on shooting technique/refinement, how to effectively train alone, film breakdown, and 1v1’s. With groups of only 9, feedback and drills will be more individualised helping players develop quicker.
Du’aine Ladejo will be coaching the athletic development portion of the training. Du’aine is two two-time Olympic medalist, Commonwealth Games Gold medalist, and head coach of Ladejo Sports Academy which focuses on speed, agility and fitness in sport.
