Congratulations and thank you to all the teams, coaches, managers, parents and players for their commitment to Bally Basketball, we did well to keep the boys training and restarting the competitions through a difficult season.
Two of our Bally Basketball teams won the competition this season. Year 10 Div 1 Bally Heat and Opens Div 3 Bally White. Many of our teams went well and improved as the season was restarted. We had several teams just miss out on playing in a grand final coming in 3rd or 4th place and some teams were only one point behind to just miss out.
There were no semi finals for the competition and the top two teams went straight into the grand final, here is a run down of the 6 teams that were in the Grand Finals.

Opens Div 1 - Bally Breakers v St Augustine's Spurs - Lost 40 - 43
Bally Breakers had a strong season and ended up equal 1st with 9 wins and 2 losses.
The boys started the final slow and were not competing to the standard that they had set throughout the season. After half time and being down 10 points they came out the right way and were engaged, the boys were tougher and played with more confidence. They grinded their way back to a one possession game. With 1.9 secs to go we stole the ball just behind half court and Brady O'sullivan put up a half court shot that went in to tie the game. But unfortunately it was deemed just after the final buzzer and did not count, the boys fought hard to come back and went down by 3 to a very good St Augustine's team.
