MWBA JUNIOR
LOCAL COMPETITION
All our teams play in the Manly Warringah Basketball Association (MWBA) Junior Local Comp.
Basketball is played all year and split into 2 Semesters. Semester 1 (Terms 1 & 2) and Semester 2 (Terms 3 & 4)
Semester 1 2023 runs from February – June.
Competition Games are held on:
Year 7 – Monday
Year 8 – Wednesday
Year 9 & 10 – Thursday
Year 10 & Opens – Friday
GAME VENUES + DIRECTIONS
Games are held either at Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre (NBISC), Narrabeen Sports High, PCYC Northern Beaches, Balgowlah Boys, Galstaun College, The Forest HS or Pittwater Uniting Church. Hit the button below for maps and directions to each venue.
GRADING INFORMATION
Grading dates and times will be sent each year to all boys who have registered for the season.
ELITE TEAMS
Elite teams are selected to compete in school championships. Funding for these teams to participate is provided by combined contributions from the P&C, team member families and Bally Basketball fundraising.
FEES & REGISTRATION
Our fees cover both competition (including finals), training for two terms and our coaches at each game.

UNIFORMS
As per MWBA local competition uniform requirements, all players are required to be in approved Bally Basketball uniforms to be able to play. Hit the button for costs and how to purchase a Bally uniform.
